UPDATES: CTSI’s 2018 Hero Awards honoured consumer champions, enforcement partners, scam victims and frontline professionals whose work had protected communities from fraud, nuisance calls, unsafe goods and wider detriment. From Martin Lewis and trueCall to Maev Dunmore, Sigrid Hambly and National Trading Standards, the ceremony showed the breadth of courage behind modern consumer protection.
At its annual Hero Awards ceremony, held in the magnificent setting of London’s One Great George Street on Wednesday 20 June, the CTSI gathered in the late afternoon sunshine with trading standards professionals, MPS and business people to celebrate its heroes of UK consumer protection for 2018.
