UPDATES: Durham's regulatory services team is strengthening relationships with local businesses through communication and mentoring training, using the Better Business for All initiative to improve inspections, advice and mutual understanding.
Members of Durham County Council's Regulatory Services' Environment, Health and Consumer Protection team, which provides health and safety regulatory advice to local traders, have taken part in a free training scheme designed to boost core listening and communications skills.
