UPDATES: The Meat Shack has been fined £300,000 after falsely advertising meat as British, with Warwickshire Trading Standards and Stratford District Council uncovering misleading origin claims across beef, pork, lamb and poultry.
Simon Drust, owner/director of the Meat Shack in Studley, took out adverts in <a href="https://muvemm.com/media/will-the-newspaper-disappear/">newspapers</a> that stated ‘Buy British – All Beef, Pork, Lamb & Chicken’, alongside Union Jacks, when in fact the business was buying large quantities of New Zealand Lamb, Dutch and Danish Gammon, Dutch and Belgian Chicken ...
