UPDATES: Trading standards officers found shortcomings in allergen information provided by kebab takeaways, prompting renewed warnings that businesses must give customers accurate details about ingredients that could pose serious health risks.
Inspections by Devon, Somerset and Torbay Trading Standards Service have found that more than 40% of kebab takeaways failed to comply with Food Information laws designed to keep consumers safe from allergens.
