UPDATES: A Welsh fraudster has been jailed after using a bogus PPI claims business to deceive hundreds of victims out of almost £200,000, bringing another successful trading standards prosecution against a persistent offender.
A woman has been jailed for almost four years after defrauding residents of Talbot Green in Wales nearly £200,000 via an unlawful PPI claims company.
Emma Meredith Hughes was sentenced the year after she was ordered to pay £10,000 compensation to the victims of her previous business, who had paid for work that either never began, or was shoddy.
