UPDATES: A suspended prison sentence has been handed to an eBay trader convicted of selling counterfeit golf equipment, underlining the consequences of online intellectual property crime.
A man in Staffordshire has been sentenced to 14 months imprisonment, suspended for 24 months, after being found guilty of selling counterfeit golfing goods on eBay.
Steven Bowler was found guilty of one offence of fraudulent trading and nine offences of infringing the Trade Marks Act between June 2015 and June 2017.
