UPDATES: The UK’s four Assay Offices have temporarily closed because of the Covid-19 crisis. Businesses needing hallmarking services are advised how to obtain guidance while restrictions remain in place.
The British Hallmarking Council (BHC) has announced the temporary closure of the UK's four Assay Offices due to the Covid-19 crisis. Birmingham, Edinburgh, London and Sheffield Assay Offices will be closed for at least three weeks.
