UPDATES: A new Scam Ad Alert system brings regulators and major online platforms together to remove fraudulent paid-for advertisements more quickly, strengthening efforts to protect consumers from digital scams.
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has launched a UK Scam Ad Alert system in partnership with the major digital advertising and social media platforms, including Facebook and Google, to help tackle bogus ads that leave consumers out of pocket.
