UPDATES: A Hertfordshire importer has been fined after selling unsafe candyfloss machines that failed electrical safety tests. The prosecution highlights the risks posed by non-compliant products and the importance of effective market surveillance.
An investigation by Hertfordshire Trading Standards has resulted in the successful prosecution of a Hitchin business which imported and sold dangerous candyfloss machines.
