Fraudsters posing as Highways Department workmen are targeting private car parks, Warwickshire County Council Trading Standards Service has warned.
The scammers claim to have left-over paint from renewing road markings, and offer to repaint lines in car parks for a low price. Once the work has been carried out, they demand a much larger payment.
