UPDATES: A Thurrock prosecution has led to fines and costs after JL Supplies Ltd and its director admitted importing and supplying unsafe toys that posed choking and asphyxiation risks to children.
A prosecution brought by Thurrock Council Trading Standards has resulted in a company which imported and supplied unsafe toys being ordered to pay more than £4,100.
JL Supplies Ltd failed to ensure that the toys it imported met proper safety standards and did not pose a danger to children.
