UPDATES: New survey findings reveal the scale of COVID-era scams, widespread public concern about underfunded consumer protection and low reporting rates, reinforcing calls for stronger enforcement and greater investment.
A new survey released by CTSI indicates that 5% (more than 2.6 million) of UK adults were scammed online since the first COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020.
