UPDATES: Trading Standards Scotland has reported an English lead generation company after concerns over misleading energy efficiency marketing, while urging consumers to seek independent advice before sharing personal details or agreeing to home improvement work.
Trading Standards Scotland (TSS) has reported a 34-year-old man and a lead generation company based in England to the Procurator Fiscal Falkirk for breaches of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, including the mis-selling of energy-efficiency products.
