ANALYSIS: A detailed short-weights survey reveals the scale of underfilled products reaching shop shelves, examining inspection findings, their impact on consumers and the enforcement action needed to improve compliance.
Trading Standards Officers throughout the West of Scotland are undertaking a retail monitoring project to identify short-weight products and protect consumers from detriment as prices rise due to inflation.
