UPDATES: A tribute to Eifion Huws reflects on his long service in Gwynedd and Anglesey Trading Standards, his expertise in weights and measures, and the warmth, mentoring and professionalism remembered by colleagues.
Eifion Huws, a much-loved part of the Trading Standards family, sadly passed away on 10 June at the age of 63.
Eifion worked for Gwynedd Trading Standards in Caernarfon from April 1978 until leaving in October 2014. During this time he qualified as a Weights and Measures Inspector and developed the calibration lab in Gwynedd.
