Darlington Trading Standards has seized illicit vapes as part of Operation CeCe

UPDATES: Two shop owners have been fined following an investigation into the sale of illegal vapes, demonstrating the continuing crackdown on non-compliant vaping products.
Darlington Borough Council Trading Standards Officers have joined forces with the police to crack down of sales of illegal vapes in the town.
As part of Operation CeCe, a nationwide initiative supported by HMRC to tackle illicit tobacco, the team visited local shops between 30 November and 5 December after receiving information from members of the public.
