Sutton TS seizes £53k of counterfeits

UPDATES: Trading Standards officers have seized counterfeit goods and thousands of illegal vapes in pre-Christmas raids, disrupting the supply of illicit products across the borough.
Cuddly toys, vapes, electric heaters and mobile phone covers with a combined value of £52,665 were among the counterfeit items seized by Sutton Council Trading Standards Officers before Christmas.
Officers confiscated 510 unsafe soft toys and 2,024 illegal vapes, as well as more than 60 accessories worth a total of £26,940 from shops across the London Borough of Sutton.
