UPDATES: Falkirk Trading Standards' award-winning recycling initiative gives seized counterfeit goods a new purpose, diverting materials to charities and community projects instead of landfill.

Falkirk Council Trading Standards has introduced an innovative new scheme to reuse and recycle confiscated items – and the initiative has won praise in the Scottish Parliament.
