UPDATES: Around £40,000 worth of non-compliant disposable vapes seized from a City retailer will be destroyed after officers found products that breached UK legal limits on nicotine-containing devices.
An estimated £40,000 worth of illicit vapes seized from a single retailer by the City of London Corporation’s Trading Standards team are set to be destroyed.
Officers visited the retailer in November and confiscated a large quantity of non-compliant vapes which were in direct infringement of UK legislation due to the excessive size of the chamber containing nicotine.
