UPDATES: Guernsey is introducing modern consumer protection legislation, bringing the island's fair trading framework closer to UK standards. The new law strengthens enforcement powers and marks a significant step in protecting consumers across the Bailiwick.
The bailiwick of Guernsey will be brought into line with the rest of the UK’s Trading Standards rules in October following a vote to adopt fair trading legislation as previously <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-guernsey-64904047" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recommended</a> by Citizens Advice.
