Suffolk Trading Standards seized more than 2,000 illegal vapes from a shop in Ipswich

UPDATES: Suffolk Trading Standards removed thousands of oversized disposable vapes from sale after discovering products far exceeding the UK's legal tank capacity and puff limits, reinforcing ongoing efforts to tackle non-compliant vaping products.
Officers from Suffolk Trading Standards have seized more than 2,000 vapes with a capacity well beyond the legal limit from an Ipswich shop.
Under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, the limit for a vape’s tank capacity is 2ml, which equates to around 600 puffs – the items seized in Ipswich have a capacity of between 3,500 and 10,000 puffs.
