UPDATES: A rogue builder who financed luxury spending by defrauding householders has been jailed following a Trading Standards investigation. The case highlights the scale of consumer harm caused by repeat offenders and the persistence needed to bring complex frauds before the courts.
A rogue builder who used the money he scammed from his victims to fund lavish holidays and shopping trips has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison following an investigation and prosecution by Suffolk Trading Standards.
