ANALYSIS: As Consumer Scotland approaches its third year, its evidence-led work is shaping policy on the cost of living, essential services and the transition to Net Zero, while balancing the competing interests of today's consumers and future generations.
Consumers across the UK have been affected by significant upheaval in recent years, with the lingering effects of the pandemic, the push towards Net Zero and the ongoing turmoil of the cost-of-living crisis each causing shifts in how and where people spend their money.
