UPDATES: Joint operations between Birmingham Trading Standards and police uncovered illicit goods at business premises in Alum Rock, continuing efforts to disrupt the supply of illegal products across the city.
Officers from Birmingham Trading Standards, supported by Washwood Heath Police, have discovered a weapon, illegal drugs, and illicit tobacco and vapes at two premises in the Alum Rock area of the city.
During raids on 20 February, the team found nitrous oxide canisters, 2,397 illicit vapes and 16,060 illegal and counterfeit cigarettes, as well as an axe.
