UPDATES: Birdkeepers across Great Britain must register with APHA from 1 October under new rules intended to strengthen avian flu controls, giving animal health teams clearer information during outbreaks.
New rules designed to prevent the spread of avian influenza are being introduced on 1 October, with owners of birds and poultry required to <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/poultry-including-game-birds-registration-rules-and-forms" target="_blank" rel="noopener">register them with the Animal and Health Plant Agency (APHA)</a>.
