UPDATES: A new age verification app has received Primary Authority approval after demonstrating high levels of accuracy, offering retailers an automated way to strengthen age-restricted sales compliance and record refusals.
Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Council Trading Standards has awarded Primary Authority approval to AgeAI, an age verification app which can reportedly identify people aged between 18 and 20 as being under the age of 25 with 100% accuracy.
