UPDATES: Enforcement action against two Newark shops resulted in the seizure of more than 1,400 illegal vapes, underlining continued efforts to tackle illicit products.
Nottinghamshire County Council Trading Standards have seized more than 1,400 illegal vapes with an estimated total value of £18,861 from two shops in Newark.
Officers visited the premises with a specialist tobacco and vape detection dog – although the illegal vapes were displayed openly on shelves, readily available for purchase.
