UPDATES: Lloyds Bank figures show Oasis fans are being heavily targeted by ticket scammers, with most reported cases starting on social media and average losses reaching hundreds of pounds.
Hundreds of Oasis fans have reported being the victim of ticket scammers in the run-up to the band’s reunion next year, with victims losing an average of £346 each, and some as much as £1,000.
The figures were released by Lloyds Bank, which analysed scam reports from its customers and found that around 70% of reported ticket scams since 27 August relate to the Oasis reunion.
