UPDATES: Rogue traders who targeted householders with fraudulent home improvement work have been jailed following a lengthy investigation, sending a strong deterrent message to offenders operating in the sector.
Four fraudsters who offered substandard home improvement services, ripped off victims and exploited the Government’s Green Deal funding initiative to the tune of more than £1m have been sentenced following a National Trading Standards (NTS) investigation.
