UPDATES: A fraudulent solar panel installer has been jailed after deceiving customers out of thousands of pounds, with Trading Standards urging consumers to remain alert to similar home improvement scams.
A solar panel installer who ripped off his customers to the tune of almost £25,000 has been jailed following an investigation by North Yorkshire Trading Standards, who are warning the public to be on guard against similar scams.
