UPDATES: CTSI is warning the public about an automated National Insurance scam that threatens legal trouble and asks recipients to press 1, exposing them to identity theft and wider financial risk.
A new data harvesting scam is targeting members of the public, CTSI has learned. The automated telephone message claims that the recipient’s National Insurance number “will be terminated due to unethical financial transactions”.
